This rapidly expanding company asked us to develop plans for a substantial new manufacturing plant adjacent to their existing facility. The proposed unit extends to some 3,000m² of manufacturing floor space and also incorporates approx. 700m² of new office accommodation. One of our key drivers during the development of the design was the environmental performance of the project, this lead to the incorporation of a drainage attenuation and rainwater harvesting strategy into the landscaping design, as well as amendments to the proposed roof design to maximise the orientation of a significant photovoltaic array.
