Know You Community Centre
Following consultation with the local community, Ph3 deisgn was asked by the local Parish Council to develop detailed proposals for the refurbishment of this existing youth club building.
The building was in need of extensive modernisation to reflect the changing needs of the community and the brief was to create a welcoming, contemporary space that could accommodate a flexible programme of uses and activities.
The proposals involved the refurbishment of existing sports changing facilities, construction of new disabled-accessible w.c.s, a new meeting room and the construction of a new sheltered terrace for use by families and spectators during football games on the adjacent playing field as well as works to the entrance and facade to make the building more welcoming and a facility that the local community could be proud of.
